Austin ECHO and WellSky Managed Services
WellSky's strategic thinking, IT expertise, and experience in homelessness helped ECHO adapt its system to support a unique program design When the Austin/Travis County’s Continuum of Care (CoC) in Texas was awarded $5.2 million to accelerate the community’s progress in preventing and ending youth and young adult homelessness, that grant came with new requirements.
Ending Community Homelessness Coalition (ECHO), the lead agency for the CoC, suddenly had to configure their WellSky system to:
• Establish unique metrics and goals;
• Collect and track new data points;
• Prepare partners to run innovative programs;
• Submit new reports to HUD and stakeholders.
It was more work than the agency’s internal IT team was able to handle on top of their existing duties, and ECHO asked WellSky to supplement their resources and help make their program a success.
